Feeling Down

Wow, its been a while, hasn't it? I haven't posted in a long time and I'm sorry about that but I still haven't given up on this blog. I have big ideas and plans for this blog and where I want to go with it. I have decided I am mainly going to focus on fashion and life style as they seem to be my most popular types of posts and what I am probably most educated in. I will be trying to post more frequently but since starting this blog I have been very busy and I have been going through a lot as well and done quite a bitt of feeling down (thats why I'm writing this post).

I just wanted to take a minute and basically say life can be shit, sometimes it can even be your worst enemy, I know, believe me. However, it's also your best friend. I know it can be hard to believe and I guess the best way to put it is that it feels like you're stuck down a deep, dark hole and there is no way you can climb out. It will feel like that more that once in your life but the only person who can get you out of that hole is you. You need to be strong, keep your chin up and look towards all the great things life still has left for you, you could look back in a few years and be in a totally different place because the world is full of so many opportunities that you just need to open your eyes and mind to. Personally, from when being in this state of mind where you just feel like EVERYTHING is rubbish, I have found a few ways that help bring you back to yourself.

Firstly and probably most importantly is don't let yourself be alone. I know sometimes it feels like you really are alone and like no one gets you and no one understands what you're going through and in all honestly, they probably don't but that doesn't mean they won't do everything they can to help. Whether these people are family, life long friends or new friends that you have just met, let them help! Even if this means just going to the pub and having a beer with them when you'd so much rather be at home in your room on your own, just do it, take the company because being with at least one person is so much better than being alone when you're feeling like that.

Secondly, I found that planning for the future helps a lot. Even if this future of yours feels hardly achievable, focus on it, plan it and work towards it. You should never give up on your dreams (I actually have a whole post dedicated to that so check it out!). Doing this will keep you occupied and hopefully, will actually make you a bit excited for whats to come. A few ideas of this could be your career, you might want to write a book, write and play music, go traveling, get healthier or to just have fun. You need to look ahead to when everything will be okay and it will be, we are humans, thats how we work! We just keep on going.

Lastly, this one actually links in with the previous one and as hard as this can be sometimes, especially when you feel like shit, is to try and be healthier. A healthy body means a healthy mind. I'm not too scientific but basically when you are healthier and you're eating right and sleeping right and even exercising your body produces chemicals that impact the way you think and it WILL help. You will be happier without even realising. Go for a jog, join the gym, find a diet that works for you and stick to it and get some early nights as well. Making these positive changes in your lifestyle will not only make you feel better physically but they will mentally as well because you will just feel like a better person in every way!

Thanks for reading today guys and remember to keep your head up, surround yourself with great people and fight for what you want in life and this will make everything a ton better! If anyone ever needs anyone to talk to I'm always here as well, just email me!
